Fish an Anime RNG Gems Guide: Every Gem Source and the Fastest Farming Route
Unlock the Lemon Stand at Rebirth 5 for $1M, farm 100-Gem event drops, and stack Index, VIP, daily and playtime Gems — every reported source plus the best farming route by stage.
The fastest way to earn Gems in Fish an Anime RNG is the Lemon Stand: unlock it at Rebirth 5 for 1,000,000 cash, place your rarest character on it, and customers pay you Gems passively — 5–100 per order, with a 250-Gem jackpot before multipliers. Before reaching that gate, redeem active codes, grab Falling Gems during events (100 each), and claim Index, clan quest, daily, VIP, and playtime rewards.
All Gem sources at a glance
Gems are the game's second currency, required for upgrades after speaking to the Upgrades NPC and for research. Every reported source and its payout type:

Lemon Stand: the main passive Gem source and its unlock gate
The Lemon Stand (the Lemonade Stand on the wiki) is the main Gem faucet: a plot building where the placed character sells to customers who walk up, order, and pay in Gems while you do anything else, including AFK. It unlocks at Rebirth 5 and costs 1,000,000 cash — the single clearest reason to keep rebirthing early rather than sitting on one long run — and once bought it stays yours through every later rebirth. The character you place determines the rate: payout climbs with rarity, not with cash per second, so place your rarest character and swap in better catches as you pull them (a 15x multiplier is reported for top-rarity placements, so never leave a common there). Gem potions multiply the stand's output, and the Boosts shop stocks a Gems Potion alongside the other potion types.
Lemon Stand payout table and multipliers
Each customer order pays from this table, then the result is multiplied:

- Customer Payout
- 5 to 10 Gems

- 50%

- 10 to 25 Gems

- 0.1% — the jackpot
Multipliers applied to the result:
- The placed Character: climbs with every rarity, from 1x on a Common to 15x on a God and 20x on an Omniscient.
- Exclusive Characters pay double.
- Gem potions multiply the payout too.
These payout figures and multipliers are community-reported as of August 30, 2026, not developer-confirmed — recheck them in-game after updates.
Strawberry Stand: the late-game second Gem stand
A second stand, the Strawberry Stand, sits next to the Lemonade Stand and costs $1Sx at 150 Rebirths (after the Lemonade Stand; after any Sacrifice it can be bought with no Rebirths). It runs the same customer table and rules, but pays a quarter of the Lemonade Stand's Gems — a rarity worth 10x on the Lemonade Stand is only worth 2.5x here. Treat the price and the 25% payout ratio as reported values, and confirm both in-game before planning around them.
Falling Gems during events (and summoning them)
Three server events drop pick-uppable currency: Falling Gems during Heaven's Collide, Hell's Gates and S U B Z E R O are worth 100 Gems each. Heaven's Collide is a 5-minute 2x Luck boost where Gems and Stars fall from the sky, Hell's Gates is a 10-minute 4x Luck boost that also rains Gems and Stars, and S U B Z E R O is a 5-minute 2x Luck boost. Mutation events occur naturally roughly every five minutes on a server with random selection and random durations, and summoned versions can be triggered by players using potions bought from special NPCs (Selene sells the Heaven's Collide Potion) or the Boosts Shop in the central hub — so stocking the right potions turns event Gem drops into a repeatable farming window rather than pure luck.
Index completion pays Gems
The Index pays Gems once per Character you have never owned, so catching a duplicate still has value when it fills a missing slot of the Index. In one recorded session, a claimable pool of 346 Gems had accumulated from Index progress. Work the Index continuously as you play — the more characters you unlock, the more Gems accumulate, and completing index entries gives additional Gem rewards on top of the Lemon Stand. One community timing tactic suggests holding the Index claim until a high-rarity character is placed on the Lemon Stand before claiming; the reported payout itself is a fixed once-per-never-owned amount and placement isn't part of how the Index is described, so treat that timing tip as player-reported rather than a confirmed mechanic.
Clan quests, daily rewards, VIP, and playtime rewards
Tips
Clan quests
Award Gems as a standing Gem source alongside daily rewards and VIP.
Daily rewards
Give Gems for showing up — income that costs nothing beyond time in the server.
VIP
Pays a reported 250 Gems every 24h.
Playtime Rewards
The timer hands out Gems for time spent in the server; reported to stack up fast enough to fund the Auto Cash Collect purchase without spending anything.
Quests menu
Also offers quests that pay Gems and other rewards.
None of these replace the core loop, but they are free recurring income layered on top of the Lemon Stand.
Codes as a one-time Gem source (and Gem-filled boxes)
Codes are a documented one-time Gem source — each code redeems once per account, and the working set rotates as milestones and updates land. Late-August 2026 snapshots listed milestone codes at 5,000 Gems each plus potions, and Radio Times listed 5k Gems on several other milestone codes that GameRant reported as Cosmic Boxes only — the same codes with different reported rewards. September 2026 snapshots list newer Gem-bearing codes worth roughly 2k–5k Gems alongside Gem-and-potion packs, while trackers continue to disagree on individual rewards and on active-versus-expired status, which flips week to week. Treat codes as a one-time top-up worth up to a few thousand Gems when they land, confirm a code is still working on the codes page before relying on it, and remember that Cosmic Boxes obtained from codes can also open into Gems along with cash, food, potions, and characters.
Best Gem farming route by progression stage
Work these stages in order — each one compounds your Gem income.
Roadmap
- 1
Redeem active codes
Their Gem and box rewards matter most while your base is still small.
- Redeem any currently active codes.
- 2
Build to five rebirths
Reaching five rebirths is your biggest early Gem goal.
- Fish, place every catch on a pedestal, feed your best characters, and rebirth as soon as the requirement is met.
- Spend leftover cash on upgrades and research before each reset.
- 3
Unlock the Lemon Stand
At five rebirths, the main passive Gem faucet becomes available.
- Spend 1,000,000 cash to unlock the Lemon Stand.
- Place your rarest character on the stand — rarity, not cash per second, sets the rate — and swap in better catches as you pull them; a Gem potion multiplies payouts.
- 4
Farm AFK income
- Stay in the server with Auto Fish rather than logging off — players report AFK'ing in a server always beats logging in fresh.
- Sell down storage before long stints; a full backpack stops auto-fishing.
- 5
Catch events and recurring rewards
- When Heaven's Collide, Hell's Gates, or S U B Z E R O runs, collect the Falling Gems (100 each).
- Keep claiming daily and playtime rewards.
Where to spend Gems next (order only)
Gems are slow to earn, so the order you buy in matters more than which upgrade looks strongest in isolation. The reported stage order: early purchases should widen your income base — extra platforms, additional research slots or researchers, and food improvements, because every added slot is a permanent increase to total income. Mid-to-late, Triple Hook and Auto Sell become more useful for longer fishing sessions. Late, Infinite Backpack — saved for last only because it is expensive, not because it is weak. When you spend, speak to the Upgrades NPC and buy strictly in this stage order rather than grabbing whichever upgrade looks strongest in isolation, checking each current price before you commit.
